NBN modem and router setup
New NBN connection, changing provider, or a new modem from your provider sitting in its box? We connect it to the NBN box or wall socket, check it is getting the speed you pay for, and set up the Wi-Fi properly.
- Modem or router connected to FTTP, FTTC, HFC, FTTN or fixed wireless NBN
- Wi-Fi name and password set, and the router's admin password changed
- Phones, laptops, TVs, consoles and smart devices reconnected
- A speed test at the router and in the rooms you use most

Computer & NBN setup — common questions
How much does it cost to set up a new computer?
New computer setup falls in our Software & setup range of $80 to $180, depending on how much is being moved across. You get the exact price before we start, and there is no call-out fee.
Can you move everything from my old computer?
Yes. Files, photos, documents, email, bookmarks and saved passwords are moved across, and your everyday programs are reinstalled. The old computer is left untouched until you're happy, then wiped if you want.
Can you set up my NBN modem?
Yes. NBN modem or router setup is $90 to $150. We connect it, test the speed, set up the Wi-Fi and reconnect your devices. We work with modems from any provider.
Are you from my internet provider?
No. We are an independent local business. Your provider looks after the NBN line itself; we set up everything on your side of the box and can give you speed measurements to take to them if the line is the problem.
Can you come in the evening or on the weekend?
Yes. We are open 24/7, so we can book a time that suits you, including after work and weekends.
